About

Victoria Hester is the founder and coach of a private ballet-based movement practice for adults, offering bespoke one-to-one coaching and workshops shaped around the individuals rather than a fixed syllabus.

Trained as a professional ballet dancer, Victoria performed across Europe before returning to London, where she is now based between Kensington and Mayfair. Her approach is informed by both her classical training and her experience working within demanding professional environments, where time, focus and quality of attention are deeply valued.

This work is not about training for performance or striving for perfection. Instead, it explores how the principles of classical ballet - alignment, strength, coordination, musicality and presence, can be adapted thoughtfully to support modern lives. Clients come to this practice for many reasons: to improve posture, build strength, learn a new skill, reconnect with movement, or find a calm, focused counterpoint to busy professional schedules.

Each client begins with a private consultation, allowing time to understand personal goals, physical considerations and any concerns. From there, sessions are developed collaboratively, respecting individual pace, lifestyle and needs. Some clients progress quickly, others more gradually; all are met with patience, discretion and care.

Victoria’s teaching style is calm and considered, prioritising quality of movement and awareness over quantity or intensity. Sessions are designed to feel intelligent, restorative and quietly challenging, offering a space where clients can develop confidence in their bodies without pressure or judgement.

This is a private practice built on trust, attention and refinement - offering ballet not as a test, but as a supportive and enduring tool for physical and mental wellbeing.
